Praetor logs a message summary into its database and you can view it in one of two ways. There are also SMTP protocol events that are logged but this happens before any message is actually received. This is covered separately.
First, the Praetor administration program integrates a message log viewer that allows you to conveniently review a list of each message that passed through Praetor in real-time and thus chronological order. Naturally there will be messages that were quarantined by your enabled rules and they are accessible to review the message details and decide how to dispose of them.
Second, Praetor also includes a web browser based access to the inbound message log. This method requires installing the optional web application we call PLGV and provides for filtering options to aid in searching for a particular message. Via this approach, you may allow users to access their own personal quarantine area.
If you do not want to allow users to access their quarantined messages, you may install PLGV just so administrators and select users (e.g. managers) have web browser access to the quarantined messages. In this case, you simply don't inform all your users of its existence. For more security and to prevent the accidental discovery of PLGV, you can choose an authentication method (SQL table) that restricts its use by the administrators and select users.
