Exchange
Server or IIS on standalone machine
XE-Filter must be installed on the machine
that receives the inbound email from the Internet.
This machine can be a Microsoft Exchange
2000 or 2003 Server or a standalone Windows
PC with Microsoft Internet Information
Manager (IIS). If this machine has CMS
Praetor product, then XE-Filter can be
installed onto the same machine.
XE-Filter
cannot be installed downstream from the point of entry
of email to
your domain. It requires the true IP
address from the attempted connection of the
sending mail server to match against the
database. |

Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 or later |
 |
Windows 2000/2003 Server, or Windows 2000/XP
Professional
Non-server Windows editions are
limited by Microsoft to a maximum of 10
simultaneous TCP/IP sessions. This may
be a problem for sites with high
volumes of email traffic that may
accept more than 10 messages at a
time. |
