Are
spammers cutting back on their transmissions? We
at CMS highly doubt it. In fact, many sources say
that spam email is growing in volume. So what is
happening?
Assuming your country-IP database is
up-to-date, CMS technicians, believe that declining
filtering rates indicate that XE-Filter is
doing its job very well and that spammers are learning
to avoid your mail server. The more sophisticated spamming
operations are likely monitoring their mail server transmission
efficiency and see their
failed attempts at breaching XE-Filter's protective wall.
Since sending messages to your email server has become a waste
of their time and spamming resources, they then
de-list your mail servers IP address.
CMS
technicians also think that new spammers are not being
added as fast as the older, established spammers are
ignoring your IP address. This then leads to
XE-Filter's declining filtering rates.
Essentially, XE-Filter puts a "GO AWAY" sign on
your email server as a warning to all spammers.

XE-FILTER CASE STUDIES - DECLINING FILTERING VOLUMES |
These charts detail the
"Average Daily Messaging Volume" for
two typical XE-Filter customers tracked over a two month period.
One
chart studies a typical "High Daily Volume" site.
The other follows a "Low
Daily Volume" XE-Filter installation.
Each chart details a declining average daily
message volume while maintaining a relatively
level "Accepted Message" volume.
This indicates that the volume of spam email is
declining, even before it reaches the mail
server protected by
XE-Filter. |
