Once Praetor G2 is running, what is the best way to disable and take Praetor v1.5 out of the loop?
If another MX record was not created for Praetor G2 and it is placed behind your Praetor v1.5, swap IP addresses so Praetor G2 has the address referred by the MX record.

If another MX record was created (recommended by CMS), then simply turn off the Praetor v1.5 machine.

You should never have any MX that continues to allow mail to go directly to your mail server.  Spammers will attempt delivery to all listed mail servers in your domain and disregard the refusal by Praetor (v1.5 or G2).  In fact, CMS has seen spammers skip the primary mail server and use the secondary server because they anticipate defenses will be strongest on the primary mail server.

If you have multiple MX records for your domain, consider getting Praetor on those mail servers.  CMS has a favorable policy for purchasing a Praetor Additional Location License. Contact CMS Sales for more information.
