This may simply be a case of a loss of identity in one of Praetor's
Components, something that is known to happen after a Windows Update,
although it's fairly infrequent.
You can restore the proper security identity by following these steps:
1) |
Close any
open Praetor Administration windows |
2) |
In the
Administrative Tools folder, open the "Component Services
Control Panel" applet |
3) |
Expand the
"COM+ Applications" |
4) |
Right click
"CMS Praetor G2" and select "Properties" |
5) |
Select the
"Identity" tab |
6) |
Enter
"PraetorROTEARP12345" in the password and confirm fields |
7) |
Re-open
Praetor Administration and select a message in the Event
Node log. If the spamicity is 0.415, click the "Recalculate
Spamicity" button. A new value, not 0.415, will be
displayed. |
8) |
Reboot the
machine to restart the IIS SMTP server. The Praetor
filter will use these new security settings. |
Once the component identity has been restored, Praetor's filter will
also correctly calculate message spamicity values. |
