Local domains and
sub-domains are easily supported with Praetor.
Use the Configure
Local Domains window to set up Praetor for multiple local domains.
This information is used by Praetor to determine message direction. If
there is one recipient of the message found with a domain matching an
entry in the local domain list, then that message is considered to be
inbound. Otherwise the message is considered as outbound.
Based on the direction, the appropriate rules are used to filter the
message.
While entries can be
added anually, as a native extension of the Windows virtual SMTP server
CMS recommends that the local domain be added within Internet Services
Manager as a new remote entry.
Once added, simply
pressing RESTORE DEFAULTS will re-sync Praetor to all the local domains. |
