What if a quarantined message contains a virus?
Such messages cannot be released by the user into the mail system.  Messages with virus attachments matching the banned list are designated as "REJECTED" and automatically deleted by Praetor.

Only messages with attachments matching the suspicious list are quarantined and these entries are clearly marked by the name of the rule filter having the words "Suspicious attachment".

The administrator needs to verify the entries in the suspicious list, making sure to move any entries to the banned list as mandated by company policies.
