Does Praetor require the Praetor Personal Log Viewer to run?
Installation of the Personal Log Viewer (PLGV) is optional.  It is not required to make the Praetor messaging firewall operational.

The Personal Log Viewer is an empowerment tool specifically developed to let employees view and release their own quarantined messages (known as "false-positives").  Using PLGV means that people can help themselves and they will never miss an important message that might be quarantined because it contains spam characteristics (e.g. obfuscated URLs containing IP address instead of a domain name).  This also relieves the email administrator to perform other tasks.

If PLGV is not installed, the Praetor administrator can still view quarantined messages and if necessary, release them to a user's mailbox.  Or PLGV can be installed and set up to restrict access only to administrators and select users (e.g. department managers).
