SOUTHFIELD, MI — February 15, 2006
Computer Mail Services, Inc. (CMS), an expert in email monitoring and security, announces two new
versions of their BL-Monitor product family, enhancing the free BL-Monitor software
and releasing BL-Monitor PRO, a new edition that gives email administrators greater control over their
DNS Blacklist choices and operations.
New features common to both BL-Monitor and BL-Monitor PRO editions include
the ability to monitor local mail servers for accidental
blacklisting and to detect various situations including
DNSBL servers blacklisting the entire Internet.
“We are excited about giving companies the ability to watch
their local mail servers for accidental blacklisting", said
Lih-Tah Wong, President of CMS. "Others charge $50 or more
annually for
this service alone and here we've included it in all BL-Monitor editions".
Unique to BL-Monitor PRO
are its "Best Combination" and "IP Overlap" reports. Using "Best
Combination" analysis, BL-Monitor PRO determines which combinations
of DNSBL servers offer the most effective blacklist filtering.
The "IP Overlap" feature details all IP addresses common between any
pair of DNSBL servers. With these reports administrators
precisely identify the best and optimal number of DNSBL servers for their
location, saving computer and network resources.
BL-Monitor PRO extends the capabilities of the free BL-Monitor
by adding the option to email reports and alerts, permitting
unattended operation. PRO edition also analyzes more IP
addresses and checks up to 5 local email servers for accidental
blacklisting.
The free edition of
BL-Monitor and BL-Monitor PRO can be downloaded immediately from the
CMS BL-Monitor Home Page. BL-Monitor PRO costs $49.95 after an introductory $50
discount off the $99.95 retail price.
