SOUTHFIELD, MI — January 5, 2006   Computer Mail Services, Inc. (CMS), an expert in antispam and email security, proudly announces that their BL-Monitor software has received awards of distinction from two shareware download websites – the Softpedia.com "100% CLEAN" Award and the "Five-Star" Award from TopShareware.com.

BL-Monitor simultaneously measures the effectiveness and efficiency of multiple DNS Blacklist (DNSBL) servers, providing a rank indicating the best to use from any given location on the Internet.  DNSBL servers are commonly used by antispam filtering products and services as the first line of defense in filtering spam and typically filter 60-70% of all spam in the inbound email traffic.
