Redirect |
Terminal |
This action will cause the message to be re-routed to a different address other than the intended recipient. Selecting this will require several pieces of information in order to be valid. Thus when first checking the box for this terminal action, you see the following screen with the description that reflects the selection.
As you can see from the bottom line in the Rule Description box, the address initially is missing and appears as this address. Click on it and the following screen appears with a blank field to enter a valid Internet address, which may also be locally at your own domain.
Note:
While the above SMTP Addresses window allows for multiple addresses to be entered, it may be more efficient and convenient to reference an Exchange or Domino distribution group. Changes you make will take effect with the very next message processed by Praetor. |
Press and then
to make your entry effective.
You will then see the following in the Rule Description area of the screen
to confirm your entry.
The redirected message will be constructed in the following manner.
Replace the RFC2821 MAIL FROM address with #PRAETOR-ADMIN@local-domain.
Replace the RFC2821 RCPT TO address with the redirected address you specified above.
If a Reply-To field does not exist in the RFC822 header, then one will be added and the original RFC2821 MAIL FROM address will be used.
